Ugh, mid term projects and school kept me from this thread majority of last week. I'm just now getting a chance to look over the recent submissions.

@Mina: Very cool. I definitely like your new submission better than the other with the single character focus. I like the impressionist style you used here, rather than going into a direct replica of the original. Gives it a bit more character to it.

@Kiya: That's really awesome. The photo montage is a nice touch. A smart way to include all the different screenshots you took. And I daaawwww'd at Thorn and his mini.

@Silverfire: I really like the colors you've used. Everything is sort of desaturated, but seems to work well with the overall tone. I think the sky really does it for me atmosphere wise. Something about the colors really gives it an autumn countryside feel to it.

@Operative: Nice, the sharpening effect really created some nice textures. The long grass is really well done, and almost looks like it's animal fur. The group of characters and the glowing tot bag and pumpkin really stand out here. Creepy vibe and fun to look at.

@The ritualist outfit looks great. Maybe later, you should post the original pictures you were working with in full detail.

@Dutch: Very nice, I'm digging the overall crispness to it and the ominous lighting.

@Odinius: This is a really fun piece to look at.

@Penguin: Awesome watercolor work as usual

@Arghore: If only you could actually drive/pilot golems like cars. Fun idea in this one.

@Widow: Cool, I'm liking the zombie heroes. And it serves that bastard Togo right for being such a Leeroy Jenkins.

@Arvida: Another neat idea. The Shatterer is definitely an awesome addition to the GW scene.

@x01: I'm liking the vector feeling you gave this.

@Shy: Very nice. The paper textures you gave it came out great.

@Sayael: Came out looking great. The clothing on the bottom three characters looks awesome.

@Thistle: Whoo, I haven't gotten through the whole story quite yet. But it's a fun read so far. You weren't joking when you said this was a novelette.

@penguin: I can't find the thread you made a couple months ago with the WIP shots of that piece. Can you repost them? They were sick as hell.

While I'm not a large, flightless seabird, I suspect you mean this thread.

@Stouda & Charlie: Thank you *lol* I could really use to win that contest. I got hacked a month ago and it's pretty annoying to get everything back.

Ugh, that's a pretty crappy deal to get hacked. But I'm sure you'll definitely make up for it with an MKT, and then some.

And I just now pieced together that you = Sayael, who I was talking to on DA.

I'm a proud graduate of Notsofast Highschool.

Sorry, I missed this. Thank you . I seriously doubt I'll win anything but they were fun to paint regardless.

I like to think Shiro was doing players the world over a favour.

Luckily my nick is almost the same everywhere. Many people dont realize it first. Who were you on DA again? *didnt graduate yet*doh

@Charlie, you can 'drive' them, not like a car, but if you read the book 'Ghosts of Ascalon' or check out concept art for Zojja for GW2, one can certainly 'ride' them

I am inclined to agree. Damnit, Togo, you are not a tank.

(bastard kept me from completing Tahnnakai yesterday on my Necro...)

When I first started Guild Wars I only had Factions, Togo managed to keep me stuck in Tahnnakai for over a week. I simply couldn't kill fast enough to keep him alive and the henchmen healers weren't interested in doing something silly like healing him.

Coincidentally this was also a necro, perhaps he simply hates necro.

He keeps trying to Leroy into Vizu's mob while I'm clearing the perimeter. Sometimes I wonder if they changed his AI with Kilroy's or something

Damn Necro hate!

I haven't been there with a necro and Togo has never Leeroy'd. With my rits, however, he likes to stay back and not help with his firepower. I lost a survivor rit for the 12th time thanks to him not finishing off a couple of lvl 8 Sickened Guards. In the beginning of Factions I'd actually be grateful if he started yelling MAAAASTEEEEEEEEEEEER TOOGOOOOO!!!!...

I can't wait for the contest results, by the way. I really can't! I can't!

Personally, I think it would be more of a:

MASTUUUUUUUUUUR TOOOOOOOOWWWWWWGOOOOOOOOUUUU

He seems like the type of guy that would pronounce his own name in a funny way.
